I am the oldest of five kids; 3 younger sisters and a little brother. I love reading, singing, writing, talking, playing piano, dancing, listening to music and dressing up.
Favorite authors: Jane Austen, Regina Doman, Maude Hart Lovelace, G.K. Chesterton. Favorite books: Pride and Predjudice, Sense and Sensibility, The Ballad of the White Horse, The Scarlet Pimpernel, the Betsey-Tacy books (once she hits high school), The Blue Sword, all of Regina Doman's retold fairy tales, but esp. Black as Night.
I sing in a local choir composed of homeschooled highschoolers, but I also just like to sing in general. :)
I love writing, but I always seem to put it off. I mostly write poetry, but compose fiction in my head all the time, it just doesn't usually get translated to paper. I'm working on it!
I love playing the piano, although I'm not great. :)
Talking - I love just catching up with friends, as well as just, idk, talking!
I like to swing dance, square dance, and ballroom dance!
Favorite musicians: Ingrid Michaelson, Celtic Women, Brit Nicole....it's sort of a long list, so I'll stop here.
Dressing up - for church, for dances...I love feeling fancy! There's a lady I know who puts on these period dances about once a year, and they are so much fun to dress up for!
Also, I'm Roman Catholic, and I have been blessed with an amazing group of families in my town who have really helped me to grow in my faith over the past few years.
