When bedtime comes 'round, I am filled up with dread. 
I’ve monsters, MONSTERS, under my bed!
They're angry, they're hungry, they drool, and they shed!
I’ve monsters down there an' they all want me dead!
My mum says good night; I am tucked snugly in.
I lie in the dark with the sheets to my chin.
I hear them! They're stirring! They mutter and growl!
They smack and they slobber, they moan and they yowl!
"We're hungry!" They bellow, "It's time for a meal!"
I hug my stuffed teddy. "Don't eat me!" I squeal.

      It had been freezing that whole week. Ohio set records in February for the most snow. We were tight on money, my family and me. Luckily my dad had just gotten a semi-stable position but who knew for how long it would last. I was very busy in those weeks looking for work, of any kind really. Then I found it. The perfect position. One snowy and blustery day. But you know how life is with it's twists and turns, ups and downs; unpredictable. 

Now this is an unedited draft of the first chapter of my book Antrium: REDEMPTION.

Chapter 1: WolfBlade…

 I know some parts don't sound quite right, so any suggestions are welcome!

There was a good shepherd Who cared for his sheep They followed his will And his word did keep.

I often find it hard to believe I live in my body. Am I really the short, bespectacled teenager I see in the mirror? Apparently.

Those eyes I see, in the dead of night.
Those eyes I fear will be my demise.
Their red burning in the dead of night
Their white lining glowing like moonlight so fine.
I try to decline
Those eyes so malciouse
His teeth sharp and rigid
Those eyes like fire from hell
Now it is easy to see why so many fell
Into his prison of char and brimstone
A thousands souls never burning alone
Those eyes so cold
Those eyes so bold
They keep me down like a burden on my back
My hope to attack
But I can't do that

Come, take my hand!
Won't it be grand
For you and me
To go flying over the sea?
Let's go!
You don't know
That it won't work 'til you've tried it.
Forget your doctorate in science!
Now please,
Just believe
It'll be lots of fun
Don't you feel that sun?
Now, open your eyes
Don't be so surprised!
We're soaring so very free
Flying over the sea.
