The three-headed dog trotted into the room, and Creusus stroked its coarse fur.
“Well, is there any news of Morgue?”
“Not much.” Flavius settled farther into his chair.
“I have heard, though, that he plans to move his base.”
“Where to?”
“Oh, probably Jiyidil or some place like that. You know, those big cities.”
Creusus nodded.
“And how are you, Kaerlthin?” he asked, in an effort to make small talk. The boy shrugged.
“Oh, you know, I’m fine. Working hard to gain my wand,”
“Of course, of course,” said Creusus.

Do you walk alone?

Submitted by Stephanie on Wed, 12/12/2007 - 22:16

Do you walk alone?
Have you no one to stand at your side?
Does no one love like their own?
Is life at the point that you just want to die?
Does no one listen to what you have to say?
Do they care, or believe in you?
Haven’t we all been there?
But is there really no one?
Are you sure you are alone?
For someone greater cares,
For you his greatest joy.
He is always there, no matter where.
He always listens, and believes.
He stands next to you,
Through the worst times.

Christmas Time

Submitted by Anonymous on Wed, 12/12/2007 - 12:44

I love Christmas time! Where on Christmas eve you ride to Grammy’s house in a Christmas dress or sweater and when you get there you see all of your family sitting on couches, and you cousins laying on the floor or running around playing and screaming and their parents tell them to be quiet!

Autumn Begins

From green to gold leaves are turning
From Summer to Fall seasons changing
From haze to blue the sky is yearning.

From feeding flowers to raking leaves
From playing in water to playing be fire
From green to red leaves are turning.

Now is the time for harvesting
Now is the time for pumpking carving
Now is the time for Thanksgiving
Now green to orange leaves are turning.

Always, Forever and Ever.

We have a book by a man named Mr. Dobson. It's full of Christmas stories told from the point of view of a person... all of which make my dad cry and sometimes everyone else, too. I tried to write this in the same style as that book, attempting to create a Christmas story... not that would make people cry, but that would be a touching story... yeah...

The Golden Compass

Submitted by Anonymous (not verified) on Sun, 12/09/2007 - 21:27

The Golden Compass is not a good movie. And I know why:
1. They are trying to kill God
2. There so called good animal spirits connected to them are called daemons and the bad guys are trying to seperate it from them.
3. The witches are supposedly good.
4. They mock Catholics in the movie.
5. The maker is an Athesist
6. The movie is atheistic and FOR KIDS.

Old crush (Vanessa Hudgens

Submitted by jakehighschool… on Sun, 12/09/2007 - 20:55

I used to LOVE a girl named Vanessa Ann Hudgens. Now many of you probably know her from her movies e.g. The High School Musical Phenomeon (sorry if I spelled it wrong). She was a GREAT singer and very pretty. My friends tried to knock sense into me because I will never meet her personally. So I gave up. And I am glad I did. Because she's not the best thing ever. God is.
Thank you for listening. PLease tell me if it's boring.

Spring Limerick

Submitted by Anna on Fri, 12/07/2007 - 22:27

I'm born on the last day of Spring
Which is really a marvelous thing
When you're born of the last
You're born of the past
And by your ear a fairy-bell rings.

Oh, I am a daughter of Spring;
So happy I think I could sing
When you know what I know
Of the sun and the snow
You have greater power than kings.

Yes, I have a knowledge of Spring
Like how to avoid a wasp's sting
And of small flowers' buds
Of mud and of suds
And the sound of a butterfly's wings.

Of LotR (MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS)

There's a certain book that I want you to see
For I know that you're simply dying to read
Of Boromir, brave-hearted, though he was weak,
Aragorn, called Strider, born to be king,
Merry the hobbit, and Pippin his friend,
Samwise Gamgee, faithful to the end,
Gandalf the wizard, lost but then found,
Eomer and Eowyn (just one was crowned),
Legolas Greenleaf, who had bow but no sword,
And his unlikely friendship with Gimli the dwarf,
Of Frodo the Ringbearer, his burden and strife,
And the evil of Sauron, who terrorized life,
