Chapter 7 Nicole Nicole was crying. Joseph had just hurt, bad. He went over to her, placing his gentle warm hand on her shoulder, "I'm sorry!" he said sincerely, and with great regret. She looked away from him, not wanting to acknolage him. He took her chin in his sweet loving fingers, "Nicky... I didn't mean to yell. I'm so sorry, my love! Will you forgive me?"
Hello, everyone! I am back from a 10 day trip to Rome, Italy, and I just remembered that ApricotPie existed. I feel terrible.
I am about to begin editing Hot Air Balloon (and I mean mercilessly!), and probably start a new story or work on an unfinished existing one.
I just wanted you all to know that I'm not dead. I sincerely love AP and want to keep posting AND reading.

Hi everyone! I thought about making a series. It will be called "Story Eyes." I got the idea from the story I'm working on now, Ice Eyes. And in the background, which I'm not posting until Ice Eyes is finished, is another story called Sea Eyes, which I know has been so over-used, but I'm using it anyway. The main arch through the entire series will be focused on the characters eyes and though it will be a story about people, it will mostly be focusing on descriptions and other forms of writing. consider it a test run. I hope you enjoy my fail at story-writing anyway!
*A/N* Okay, so I wrote this last night in a crazy book-happy writing frenzy (which happened because I posted how much I loved Reckless on Cornelia Funke's Reckless facebook page, and she replied!!!!!!!). I'm trying to reveal more of David's past, but I haven't written much of this lately, so I was having trouble getting into his skin. So, sorry if his mood changes weirdly or if either he or Marie are acting out of character. Constructive criticism would be great. :)
I decided Apricot Pie needed some sort of essay where we could have conversations and comment on our thoughts on homeschooling....writing...and lots of other fun stuff! If this has already been done by someone (oops!) let me know, and thanks!

Island of the Kahts
Being the account of one of grand adventures of Torinnir Erris Vongelli, in which is recorded all the prevalent, relevant, little-known, and/or otherwise obscure information of his great heroism and even greater handsomeness.
The torchlight sways in summer air.
A gypsy girl, she twirls, and in her flight
crowds watch, enchanted through the night,
and see her waves of earthy hair.
Her scenery reaches wide and far
Her stage is made of all the streets,
the only home known to her feet.
Above her head there shines a star.
How much?
Too much maybe, but less than you deserve.
Not enough, but for me it's overwhelming.
This feeling - it's incredible, warming,
potentially heartbreaking,
but worth it all the same.
How much?
Enough that I can close my eyes and fly
and at the same time, fatally crash.
So intense,
like thunder, wind, the color red,
110 mph and going faster,
adrenaline.
How much?
I wish I could show you.
It's there,
look,
you'll see it.
I won't hide it from you.
