Okay, y'all ;)

Chapter Six

1. And Leah called unto her Joab, the son of Kish, a benjamite.

2. And said unto him, "go into all the world, and find thou every name both common and uncommon."

3. And Joab did that which she had told him, and he brought back unto her a list full of names.

4. And she was pleased, for surely one of these would be the name, and she should sleep well that night.

5. And when she awoke in the morn, lo, unto her appeared the little man, and he said unto her, "hast thou any names to ask of me?"

She came inside one evening, while her father was sitting by the fire in the parlor, and her mother was frying fish. Martje hesitated, and then went in to him.

“What are you working on?”

“Just some writing, mitt hjärta.”

She sat down next to him on the hearth.

He was eating his pignuts, stored over from the winter, cracking them with a stone on the bricks. They were his special treat - he hoarded a sack in the cellar - but he generously handed her a slip: snow-white and buttery.

“May I see your writing?” she asked, taking the meat.

Crime solving can even be aided by a variety of different tools used by criminals to perform crimes. One that we seem to see pretty frequently is the gun. Fortunately, guns used in crimes can be traced to buyers. They can be tested in police labs to see if they had anything to do with the crime-for example, the distance it is shot from can help determine this. This study of gun use is called ballistics. Bullets found at the crime scene can also be matched to guns.

Of course, all this is done to enable investigators to find and convict a criminal. Evidence, however elusive, must be found to help with this. Witnesses and suspects are questioned closely to find vital clues used to solve the mystery. Hypnosis is occasionally used to do this, though its use is rather infrequent. It is also a known fact among investigators that most criminals have lower average IQ’s than most ordinary people, so this can help with investigation.

Why I Keep Loving

I love you, the way I love the snow. Some people think of reasons to hate it, but I can’t help but love it. Most people hate to shovel snow. It’s not my favorite thing to do, but I don’t hate it. I hear my neighbors say “I have to go shovel.” You don’t have to. You choose too. I don’t mind picking up a shovel and going out in the cold to move snow around. Sure it may be hard work and cold outside, but I see it as a chance to spend time thinking. Most people are annoyed when roads are icy. I will admit that sometimes you can get off course. You may crash against someone or vice-versa.

Jovlin was so angry at The Mask that she forgot about an obvious fact that hindered her exit. The way she had come was only an entrance; she would never be able to climb out that way. She sat for a while on the pile of pillows, waiting until she was sure The Mask must be gone before she stepped back towards the room. She cautiously entered, trying to avoid any confrontation with The Mask. Seeing that the room was empty, Jovlin headed towards the back of the room. She found the exit, but turned around before leaving. Jovlin considered taking some books with her.
