I was sitting alone in my room one night, gazing at the stars from my window like they always do in sappy books I've read when it came. Or should I say when HE came. My, he was beautiful. Perfect and purely white with dazzling blue eyes. The only problem was the person that rode him..........

I hated my job, back in the days when I worked here. At first I didn’t mind it, then without warning it started to grate on me.
It wasn’t the sounds, though they were enough to curdle the blood of any sane man sometimes. Nor was it the smells, though it was if all the refuse of the world had been dumped in this pit.

But halfway there they stopped for lunch an’ started arguin’ ‘bout what tastes best.
Now these old men where ornery, as ornery as some mules.
So these old men kept arguin’ a long way past noon.
They kept up this disagreement till the sun was gone,

"Look, Frida. Aren't the flames lovely? They look like toungues, licking that marshmellow of yours!" the tall man said. He looked down to the young girl, Frida, whom of which he was addressing.
Frida smiled and nodded, though it was obvious she was trying to concentrate. She focused intently on the marshmellow she was roasting. It couldn't be too burnt, nor undercooked. It had to be perfection.
