God saw it was good...

It has been years since my guitar was put to use. I have fiddled with it, and I use it fairly regularly in my own quiet times, but I have not had the chance to play for others in a very long time. All of sudden that changed. I went to a prayer/worship meeting a few weeks ago (had a wonderful time) and enjoyed the worship even though the only music available was from a cd. Well, somehow in the course of the following week my husband mentioned to someone from the group that I used to lead worship with my guitar. The response was immediate, and I played for the first time last Monday night.

As the wind whines.

Have you ever heard the wind?
I wish I could hear the wind.
I have a question youngster,
Can you refresh this old junkster,
Of how the wind whines?

What does it do now through the trees?
What does it do now in a breeze?
Have you ever played with the wind?
I used to always play with the wind.

I would make kites to soar up high,
and boats that would wade and depend on the sky.
Oh what good times I had with the wind,
I would look at the clouds with my kin.

To Dance Again.

Submitted by Kyleigh on Wed, 09/19/2007 - 17:36

This is a true story. It didn't quite happen this way, well, when we moved I tried to do ballet here before fencing, but it just didn't work, the dance schools here are... *shudders* I don't want to think about them. That's when I did fencing and then just today I started Irish Dance. It's good to be back, to be flying again. :P
Sometimes I don't tell people because I think then they'll think this is the reason I quite ballet. But it's not, I love ballet and I know you can do beautiful dances with softshoe.

"BLUEEEE" Yoda yells at the top of his voice as he runs to the blue T.V. screen. *Wham!* He falls to the floor. This is what hapened... one day when in a battle he was shot with a blue bullet to the head and from that day on his favorite absetion of blue was all he was to live for. He had to touch everything blue and he even wore blue cloth diapers. He always went into battle with two things. A paint brush, and a can of blue paint. and this is how Yoda went crazy about blue.

Sunday came falling down too fast, crashing in upon me like Niagara Falls; a splash of cold water and ice that had the weight of large rocks. I could have prepared myself to be prepared for a month and it wouldn't have made a difference. Because no matter how prepared I was, it wasn't going to change how I felt.

The Tomb of Renchoes.

"Here it is! The Tomb of Renchoes! I thought I would never find it!" the speaker was a tall slender young man about the age of 20 whos name was Swen. He looked towards the others as they stared at the wonderful find. Then all of a sudden a group of them came up to Swen and the ring leader (Luppa of Tatoine a big muscular muntant Bantha) said "This is now property of the Empire and shall be given over with no complaint." he said in his ruff voice. All of a sudden there was blaster shots every were. Swen ran for the pyramid after grabing supplies.

A Path to Take

Which path to take
The thin the wide
The short the long
God what path to take

“It is your will not mine”

Which path to take
The rocky to smooth
The wet the dry
God what path to take

“I will obey what you say”

Which path to take
Marriage or a Nun
Single or lay
God what path to take

“I lay my trust in you”

Kindly Mother

Submitted by Elizabeth on Thu, 09/13/2007 - 18:55

Maiden of tears weeping for men
Lady of the Roses crushing the serpent

Women of light in grotto of Lourdes
Mother of Christ who came to earth

Virgin sorrowful, swords of pain
Queen of Angels, Queen of Saints

Immaculate heart lilies surrounded
Lady of the Medal, miracles astounded

Lady of Mount Carmel, apparition at night
Lady of Fatima, visions of light

Immaculate virgin, mother, and queen
Gift of God, lovely, most serene
