Thunderstorm

Part One:

Crash! News on TV

Announces there will be

A thunder storm

Dash! Downstairs to safety

I really am hating

This weather

Bash! The first bit sounded

My cat has just bounded

Into a safer haven

Mash! The blankets and chairs together

Wait out this thunderstorm weather

Until it passes on

Part Two:

Descent to Chaos

{this isn't based on fact, but the musings of my mind. There have been no protests here, and we don't see any reason for there to be any; the local people are happy. But I put myself in the shoes of one of my friends in a nearby country, and this is what resulted}.

Shouts and angry voices drifted up from the street.

A companion's heart

You love an enigma
the man who is not his exterior
and touch the young face that holds
the time lord interior.

He’s the hardest equation
you may ever try to learn.
You gain only a fraction, not a whole;
you watch his eyes as they burn.

The same whom you embrace
and babbles about inconsequential things,
is the avenging angel
whose very presence terror brings.

Guardian Angels

Light shines from a cloud,

Shedding its light on the world,

The sky so blue and the clouds so curled.

Look at the angels rising,

Into the airy night,

Oh black wings take off in flight.

Guardians of all above,

From some one known but not,

"What is in a name?" Oh what, oh what?

Crys bring thee closer,

Saving you from the deepest dispaire,

How many lives they have saved, I wish not count, nor do I care.

Protectors we are all assigned,

That, I am but certain,

Redemptive Love

Note: This poem was a bit of an experiment. I actually had the idea for a snippet of a story that I wanted to base this poem on. I ended up writing a short story and then writing a poem based on the story. I feel that the poem is way better than the story, but if anyone is interested, I will post the story as well. Enjoy!

Captured in those soulless depths,

your eyes betray the pain.

The Canon Keepers is basically a fictional organization which goes to different works of fan-fiction, eliminating Mary Sues, Gary Stus, Marty Sams, stupid romances, and other un-canonical things. This is my version of the Narnia Canon Keepers, helping to keep Narnia canonical.
And by the way, although Wraithbane is on temporarily on hold, I'm hoping to start writing it again soon.
Enjoy!

CHAPTER ONE

to dance like a polar bear

the lawn gnome said to me, he said: this is the way to go, he said:
dance like a polar bear, dance like an epiphany. tell the world that you don't care anymore.
once i was walking,
out on my front lawn.
i passed a man and he said hi ,
i turned around and he was gone.
the lawn gnome said to me, he said: this is the way to go, he said:
dance like a polar bear, dance like an epiphany. tell the world that you don't care anymore.
i started thinking.
and walking down a lonely road.
then it hit me,
