Otherwordly

They call it 'otherworldly'--

the nectar-colored sky

behind the blackened front

of the approaching summer storm...

the sunlight and the rain that come at once,

dripping gold...

the sighing of the wind among

the youngest of the trees...

the stirring of the lake

beneath the water lilies...

'Otherworldly'.

I laugh at them--

at the narrow minds

that speak of other worlds but cannot grasp

the wonders of their own,

who cannot fathom sun and rain at once...

or a nectar-colored sky.

~For the Theme of Spring, a Mysterious Jar

You’re spinning by

Too fast for me to hold you

My arms are reaching, my hands are grasping

You’re passing me by my fingertips

You are glowing,

Glowing like the moon is within your skin

You laugh and pass me by

Like mist in the hills

There mist lays white-brushed clouds

Yet it’s unreachable

Your wings are silver

Glimmering like a fish’s tail

the Overlords: III

Liadan sighed. Gethin was gone and she was glad of it. I’m free. She was free of Gethin, but more importantly she was free of the ideals that he had tried to impose on her. She knew exactly what she was about to do. She was about to play traitor to Gethin’s loyalties, and become a valued member of the Overlord household. I love you Gethin, and I think you love me, but you would hate what I’m about to do.
‘’ This way,’’ said Elfreda, leading Gethin and Gavon into the forest. She strode ahead of them with a determined step, then stopped. They had come to the clearing.

Dear Fellow Homeschooler,

Cell phones...drama...makeup, Oh MY! This is your guide to dealing with the one and only, public schooler. Be warned: this is just for fun. I have nothing against public schoolers (well, not most!) and have several friends that are in public school. This is merely just for fun. Enjoy.

running underwater

Submitted by Aalen Fideli on Fri, 05/27/2011 - 16:14

Running underwater like a dream while you're awake.

No one tells you how to, but you do it anyway.

all day, all night, its like subaquatic flight. the water's not too cold, and the sun is not too bright.

When you're running, Flying, Faking it but making it alright, the flight is as easy as can be,

just start running underwater and come dream along with me.

We're running over water, and i finally can see.

that when running underwater try to never fall asleep.
