Constant Movement

Something I wrote just now for Grammar. :)

~~~~
Gurgling, bubbling, rushing stream
Racing over rocks and me
Slipping under a twister so very
White and liquid foamy.
Head-on collision – oh what shall we do?
We tear away – so very quickly to notice.
Twisting right, then left, and finally straight
Down and – slam! – disturbing once still waters.
Hey guys! This was an experimental 15 minute assignment where we had to write a fictional story in (duh) fifteen minutes. No pre-write, nothing went into this story, so it really isn't the best quality. Just thought I'd post it. Enjoy! :D
Unauthorized Resistance (Part 1)
Submitted by Dan on Sat, 03/31/2012 - 01:04
Caleb Olastar could hear his own breath. It was so quiet in the underground basement that served as headquarters for the Resistance. The Council all stared at him, bewildered that this little red haired hacker wanted to execute such an audacious idea. After about five minutes of pondering on the Council's part, the Headmaster spoke,
"Well then, would you think the benefits outwheigh the costs if this plan were put into action?"
Twenty-three Minutes
A girl stands at the bottom of a hill, gazing up towards the summit. Her breath steams at regular intervals in the cold, early-morning air as she ponders her next move. indecision shows in her face which shows all her emotions in agonizing clarity. She glances around her; she is alone. This she is pleased with. She does not want anyone to see her if she fails. The distance is so long for her! She does not know if she can do it. She nods slowly to herself, response to an inner argument. Slowly her right hand comes up, she looks down at the object grasped firmly in it.
Chapter Six
There were Jellicles scattered around the Junkyard.
To be honest, I felt intimidated. Wouldn't you if you were surrounded by a bunch of cats that were staring at you?
I looked over at Charity and Alyssa, who looked like they were petrified. Their eyes were as big as dinner plates. I wondered if that's what I looked like.
Munkustrap took Amber straight to Tantomile who was sitting with Jemima. He handed them Amber, and they disappeared to...........somewhere else.
Chapter 5
Mungojerrie led us through what seemed like a layrinth of dimly lit hallways.
We seemed to be getting closer to the battle. After a while, Mistoffelees motioned for us to stop. He peeked around a corner and signaled to some-one.(I later found out that it was Alonzo.)We started moving again.
We walked for seemed like hours in silence. It wasn't that we needed to be quiet, the noises from the battle were rather loud, we just were.
Occasionally, we would run into a henchrat. Misto always managed to take care of them rather quickly.
Chapter 4
The next few days were horrible. Macavity paid many a visit, none of which I would like to go into detail about. It seemed to go forever. Then one day, he decided he didn't need Amber anymore.
It started out normally. He came in, the four of us crowded into a corner, he pulled one of us away-Amber.
He smacked her across the face. I was stunned for a minute, then this white hot fury built up inside me. According to Charity, I started growling.
Chapter 3
I don't remember much in between seeing Macavity and waking up in a small, dark room that looked windowless. From the pounding in my head when I tried to get up, they probably knocked us out.
After a while, I managed to stand up and take a look around the prison. I felt around the walls, looking for a way out.
The first thing I found was the door. It was locked.
The next thing I found was the tiny, filthy window. I tried opening it, but no luck.
I went over and woke up Amber.
"Amber. Hey Amber."
