Chapter 5
Mungojerrie led us through what seemed like a layrinth of dimly lit hallways.
We seemed to be getting closer to the battle. After a while, Mistoffelees motioned for us to stop. He peeked around a corner and signaled to some-one.(I later found out that it was Alonzo.)We started moving again.
We walked for seemed like hours in silence. It wasn't that we needed to be quiet, the noises from the battle were rather loud, we just were.
Occasionally, we would run into a henchrat. Misto always managed to take care of them rather quickly.
Now, these aren't your garden variety rats, these are big, big, BIG rats. Nasty looking things. They looked like something that Dr. Frankenstein would've created. NASTY!!
Finally, after an eternity of walking, we made it outside. It was broad daylight. You never would've been able to tell from inside Macavity's place!
I took a deep breath of fresh air, the first in a long time. Apparently Mac, as I've taken to calling him, likes musty air.
I looked at Charity, who was doing the same. It was the first time I had gotten a good look at her since we turned into cats. Her fur was orange-ish brown and white. It was matted down in places and was fairly dirty, but that was to be expected. She also had what looked like a freckle on her nose.
"Did you know that you have a spot on your nose?" I asked.
"Ummmmm...........no, we haven't run into any mirrors lately. Why are you asking now?"
I tried to shrug, then immediatly regretted it when I fell on my face.
Charity, Misto, and Aly started laughing at me
"It's not funny!!" I growled when I got up.
"And yet......." said Misto and started laughing at me again.
If looks could kill............oooh!
After a while, I aksed Charity what I looked like.
"Well, you're a calico......ginger, brown, white, ande black. Very pretty, you look good as a cat."
"Oh well, thanks!"
We walked for a while.
"What do I look like?" asked Alyssa.
"You're mostly white....."
"You have gray and black spots...."
"You have this black and gray butterfly-shaped spot on your head....."
"You have a black and white striped tail...."
Charity and I were going back and forth, trying to describe Aly's fur.
We walked a long, long way until finally, we came around a corner and there it was-huge!! Words can't describe how awesome it was!
It looked very similar, almost identical to the stage setting for the musical.
I couldn't believe it. We were HERE.
