For Jerusalem

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem

The city torn by age-old war

The holy city of the Jews

Razed by years of war

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem

The holy city of the kings

The city of David, Solomon, Judah

The symbol of hope that God brings

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem

The city Abraham’s children founded

Where love and laughter once had shown

Now death and dying lay mounded

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem

Sara stared into her closet, arms spread out, hands resting on either side of the doorframe. Her hazel eyes scanned her clothing; what to wear?
Lynda reached past Sara, and grabbed a flowy skirt that went a little past her knees. “This is cute.”
Sara touched the silky fabric. “Naw.”

Met upon the meadowland
On the forest’s edge
My love and I, here we stand
The rest of the world abed

The bright, gentle light of the moon
Basks down on the bending grass
Grass tips reflect unearthly bloom
The moon has reached its last
My heart is full

The sky reaches out forever and ever
Starlight unrelenting and unfound
The loveliest life eternally together
Such beauty knows no battleground
My heart is happy

Chapter Six

There were Jellicles scattered around the Junkyard.
To be honest, I felt intimidated. Wouldn't you if you were surrounded by a bunch of cats that were staring at you?
I looked over at Charity and Alyssa, who looked like they were petrified. Their eyes were as big as dinner plates. I wondered if that's what I looked like.

Munkustrap took Amber straight to Tantomile who was sitting with Jemima. He handed them Amber, and they disappeared to...........somewhere else.

Toiling under heavy hearts
Tol Brandir begins to depart
Boromir has passed down Anduin roaring
With songs of lament that goes on pouring
Forth Three Hunters! Your comrades are calling!

The Ringbearer has left for the Nameless land
With the only one companion devoted Sam
Gandalf has fallen under immense shadow
His journey they were not to follow
Forth Three Hunters! Day is waning!

He is magnificent,
Brave and a leader.
Eldest in age,
His name is Peter.
His sword is bright,
His shield is red,
And the mighty wolf
He struck, quite dead.
In England a boy,
In Narnia a man.
O the deeds he wrought
In that faraway land.
With the Witch and King Miraz
He fought and he wrested.
One couldn’t kill him,
The other he bested.
Too soon he grew up,
No more could he visit
That world he loved;
He knew he would miss it.
But the one under whose

Chapter 5

Mungojerrie led us through what seemed like a layrinth of dimly lit hallways.
We seemed to be getting closer to the battle. After a while, Mistoffelees motioned for us to stop. He peeked around a corner and signaled to some-one.(I later found out that it was Alonzo.)We started moving again.

We walked for seemed like hours in silence. It wasn't that we needed to be quiet, the noises from the battle were rather loud, we just were.

Occasionally, we would run into a henchrat. Misto always managed to take care of them rather quickly.

The Siren

See our fair rock-carved city
On waves black as tar
Under periwinkle sky
And soft violet stars

That’s where we sit
In time outside of clocks
You’d better avoid us
Or you’ll crash on the rocks

Stop up your ears
Or you may be entranced
And never come back
From our misshapen land

For we are thunderstorms at night
That cause children to hide
We’d love you and kill you
With one song, take your life
