Thoughts
They're like shotguns firing involuntarily.
So explosive yet so benign, like atoms before the atom bomb. You can't see them, and yet you can
because I am you and you are me.
I am watching from the harbor
watching for you, my
tired
poor
longing for freedom
I carry a light into this world
I cannot be unaware.
I am stepping forward,
look closely!
and behind me your chains are
broken,
trampled
gone, you are free
I hold up this flame for all to see
I cannot be still
Used to be I could see
into the sunset of my future
Everything smiling at me
and just crying "adventure!"
Somewhere between then and now
I caved to fear somehow
Next thing I know he has
stolen my hope from my hands
and I find my dreams
on the ground at my feet
in pieces
And now I'm locked up without even a view
captive, without a hope of finding you
Come find me tonight
I need you to fight for me
If you don't come, nobody will
and I'll be left all alone
in this cold stone castle
Flowing tears, healing tears, strip away fears
for reaching hands, that love the man
beneath the scars, like shattered stars
holds tight to hope, with heartbreak notes
the sorrow held, because they fell
but long for more, knees on the floor.
Father hold them, come and show them
mercy meets them, where "forgive me" stands.
Down from Heaven, breaching chasm
between who I could be, and who I am
Offering of grace, for them for me
more than we could imagine
more than we could dream
and I pray you grant us
After receiving a list of books from the little Agurri girl, Timothy began to make his way towards the school’s library, which was situated on the north side of the inner keep, just beneath the great hall. There was a flight of stares at the back of the hall which lead down to a small landing between two doors.
You’re here for good now little one
Just in time too, my heart was aching
Remember those who were on your side
Now you have a chance at God and a good life
It didn’t seem like it was going good, but you are a tough little boy
Prayers for you have wrapped around the world
You are full of life, now you can show the rest of the world what I already see
Remember this for me: Jesus is on your side
Nothing is impossible, I see that now
I had a hard time keeping up
But when I looked at your face hope grew little by little
(Not to be read unless you’ve read Stars Over Llorleya, my book, since it does contain spoilers about the chapters posted here.)
A Stars Over Llorleya documentary of sorts, Part 1.
I look at my alarm clock,
It's 11:40 at night,
I can't wait till the morning,
When everything is light!
I turn and sigh and think about,
The day ahead to come,
So i can play with all my friends,
We can Laugh,sing and run.
So i take one more glance at my clock,
And close my eye's and say,
I can't wait for another morning,
Or for another day!
The night so fair
Wind so cool
Deep waves of sea
Flow ever on
The stars glimmer
Spreading brightness
On deep blue sea
Reflects
Fair moon
Above the sea
The sky, the sea
Deep blue
Rushing sound
Of waves
Gusting
Wind
The wave’s lapping shore
Tide pulls in
As sun rises
Over peaks
Of blue seas
Shall endure the morn.
