Child of Darkness, Chapter 3

Korin walks over and knocks on the door. “Hey! We need a new lamp in here!” There is no response. He pounds harder and finally we hear boots clattering on the stone.
“What’s going on in there?” an irritated voice sounds from the other side.
“We need a light. The lamp just went out.” Korin responds. Suddenly, without the sound of anything opening a lock, the door swings open and light spills back into the ink that is our cell. An extremely annoyed face covered in brown beard glares at Korin.

George the Knight

I hope no one thinks that I am copying the other people (like Heather or Lori Ann) who have written stories like this. I wrote this very late at night (about 10:30, to be exact) and my brain was rather fried. I had to keep the story in the visinity of 500 to 600 words and I couldn't write a "normal" fairy-tale about serious things like that so I wrote this instead. I have been hesitant about putting it up, but like I said, I wasn't copying so here it is!!! :)

The Girl with the Hiccups

There once was a girl named Sophia. Sophia was ten years old, but very different from the other girls of her age around town. For starters, Sophia cried over everything. And I do mean everything. And because Sophia cried very often, she always got a serious case of the hiccups.

So one day, Sophia’s mother decided to take a trip to the doctor’s office to figure out a cure for her very annoying hiccups.

Tennis

Tennis can be fun,
Or tenns can be hard.
Tennis is like an elevator,
It has its up's and downs.

On the court you can be,
As slow as a turtle,
Or as fast as lightning.

When I play tennis I look,
Like a starving man eating for the first
time.
I dance around the court like a ballerina
Anticipating for the next shot.

Second Chapter of My Purple Alien Friend!

Hello, I am so happy to talk to you humans again! This is your friend Purpletalkata on planet Purpletuor! Many events have happened to me since our last chat. It was my birthday three days ago! I finally broke the top hundred! Now, I am 101 years old! For every year on planet Earth it is 2.5 years here! I am actually 101.111111 years old or something like that but, who’s counting! I find it fascinating how I would be so old on your planet but so young on mine!

My Purple friend, Chapter 1

Hello, my name is Purpletalkata and I live a happy life with my Central Nebula on planet Purpletuor. Humans probably don't understand our language. Central Nebula means family in bluketalk. I can speak and comprehend four different tongues including plabotory. Oh my! I am gloating about myself once again! My moria, mother, sought out my name because I am constantly talking! I do not look like most aliens of my kind. We are purple worms with antenna's two feet high! You can imagine the stress it puts on our necks! I have a extraordinary gift received to me when I was born.
