She sits and crys, tears sliiping out of her black-rimmed eyes.
They flow down her cheeks, a cascade of silent pleas.
The result of a broken heart, a child that was love starved.
Scarred and cracked, her face no longer perfectly masked,
The tears wash away her facade, and all her makeup slips away
Revealing the frightened little girl, so afraid of the world.
Black rivers drip down her flushed cheeks

and take me to your breast
as an infant born again
from your womb.

She was frozen to her seat with fear and couldn’t move. Her mother answered the door, and they pushed past her into the house and strode upstairs. One rapped on her door and said-‘
“Autumn, honey.”
Autumn sat up in bed and rubbed her eyes, looking around.
Her father stood in the doorway.
So, here's the situation. I'm in _____ with my brother Sean. I'm leaving for home in four days, and starting college for real in the fall. (I did a year, but it was just generals and I'm entering as a freshman in a university.) As it is right now, I'm majoring in Mechanical Engineering at a very good university. I have very good grades and a decent head on my shoulders - I could do really well. I even have a huge scholarship - really something that's too much to give up lightly. The only problem is...
