As the glowing sun set behind Knight Manor. Isabella Knight a beautiful 21-year-old girl was finishing the last few touches on a surprise birthday party for her mom and uncle her mom’s twin brother. Bella scribbled on a piece of paper the last couple of items she needed to grab from the store.
‘Cake, candles, and balloons.’ thought Bella as she ran out the door to her black truck and rushed to the store. As Bella picked up the last few things on her list her phone rang.
“Hello” “Bella honey, it’s dad is everything ready for your mom and uncle?”
“Yep, just had to run to the store to grab a few items then everything will be set.” “Great, be there at 3, love ya bye.” Bella shoved her phone into her back pocket as the cashier handed her the receipt. A cool breeze hit Bella as she left the store , looking up she thanked God for the great weather on such a special day. Heading to her car she put the groceries in the trunk before heading back to the house. Grabbing the groceries and heading up the stairs, Bella completed the last few touches to the surprise party, and ran to go get ready . Slipping on a green and silver dress Bella finished getting ready when the doorbell rang.
“Coming,” she yelled. As she opened the front door she heard a gasp.
“What?”
“You look amazing Bella, darling.” stated her favorite Aunt well her only Aunt. “Thanks, Aunty you look amazing yourself.” said a blushing Bella.
“Don’t, you boys think so too?” questioned her Aunt as she turned to look at the boys.
“Wow, Bella you look great!” exclaimed the boys. Poor Bella blushed even harder. Her Aunt and cousins stepped inside and laid their stuff down on the counter. “Your Uncle is busy with work so he won’t be here till three .”
“Ok, I just hope he is not too late it is his party as well.” Soon the other guest started arriving and preparing for the arrival of the birthday twins. As the clock chimed three o’clock the look out shouted.
“They’re here, everyone hide!”
Bella ran outside to help her parents with their things.
“Bella darling, here take this into the house your father and I will be right after you.” said her mom kissing Bella on the cheek and handing her the bag. As Bella and her parents walked into the house it erupted in the loud cheering and happy birthdays.
“O my goodness is this all for me.” said Mrs Knight as she looked around at all the family and friends that had come to celebrate her and her brother’s birthday.
“Wait, where is Nick, he is supposed to be here too?” questioned Mrs Knight looking around the crowd for her brother. As Bella explaining to her mom that her brother was on his she was interrupted by her Uncle walking in the door with an armload of presents for his twin.
“Sorry I’m late everybody, traffic was terrible and I had forgotten the presents at the house.” stated Uncle Nick as he hugged his twin. The birthday was now in full swing now that the other twin was there. Dinner was served outside since it was such a beautiful day. While the adults talked the teens started up a game of tag but since Bella had been in track when she was in high school they knew that she would catch them so they had Beau play the catcher. To everyone's dismay Bella got tagged first so she was it for the next round. After a couple rounds of tag they were called in, it was time for presents, Mrs. Knight and Uncle Nick opened their presents but Bella had a special present for her mom and uncle that she had not put in the pile.
“Mom, Uncle Nick I have one more present for you guys, I’ll be right back,” said Bella. Everyone watched as she left the room to go grab the other presents. In only a couple of minutes Bella came back with two presents and handed them to her mom and uncle. When the gifts were opened her mom and uncle were shocked in the boxes were a silver necklace with moonstones and she gave her uncle an extremely nice black watch.
“Oh my Bella this is gorgeous you spoil me!” exclaimed her mom hugging her baby girl.
“Ya girl you seriously went all out for us the watch is amazing and I broke my last one a couple of days ago my wrist felt like it was missing something, thank you beautiful!” said her uncle.
Blushing Bella said “Well you guys are really special to me so I had to find something that was as special as you guys.”
The wrapping was thrown away and the presents were put away for later use. Everyone chipped in to clean up and then started heading out. Except for Uncle Nick, Aunt Lori, and the boys. Bella, Beau, and Logan sat down and watched a movie while the parents talked. When the movie was finished they headed home. The following day, Bella was up and getting ready for work. She worked at the family stables, The Gallant Knight Equestrian Stables as head manager, she always enjoyed helping out the hands and making sure everything ran smoothly. She hopped into her truck and headed to the stables, it takes about forty-five minutes to get the stables. Bella parked her truck next to her office, heading inside she sees her head stable hand sitting waiting for her.
"Richard, is everything ok?" questioned Bella sitting down behind her desk.
"Yes ma'am, I'm needing a couple days off if that is okay with you?"
"Yes, that is fine Richard, may I ask why?"
"My wife is sick and she needs my help looking after the baby."
"Richard you have as many days as you need off, and if you need anything just let me know okay?"
"Thank you ma'am."
Richard tipped his hat and went out the door. Bella sifted through yesterday's mail that had been brought in. On the top was a letter from MI5 in London, England, immediately opening the letter she read through its content.
