Annica - Part II

“She’s waking up!”
“Shhh!”
“Hello there, my pretty! Glad to see you’ve finally come ‘round!”
Annica opened her eyes slowly and stared up at the many faces staring down at hers. She realized she was on a bed in a small, sunlit room; that was about all she could tell about her surroundings at the moment.

Resurrection: II. He Is Not Here

Submitted by Kyleigh on Sun, 12/02/2012 - 05:12

Dawn has not yet come.
When He is not here, how can there be sun?
The earth shook yet again – what was causing this madness?
It struck terror in their hearts, combined with pre-existing sadness.

The women reached the tomb; the stone was rolled away.
It had been sealed – this was no child’s play.
And sitting on the stone, with appearance like lightning
Clothing white as snow, his appearance was frightening.

Life

Life....life is a strange thing. Twisting, turning, making you feel miserable—but then…you realise that no matter how many mistakes you’ve made, life still goes on. And everything will be alright.

God forgives.

And Jesus loves.

Life is when a baby takes its first breath. Another spark to join the other embers. Yet each one is so special.

Life is the complicated whirl of emotions swirling around you, never giving you a break. Only in God can give you the everlasting peace.

“Cream soda?”
“Sure.”
He tossed the old-fashioned glass bottle from hand to hand as they waited in line. It made her nervous; she couldn’t help but fear that he’d drop it. Swiftly back and forth through the air it went, constantly in danger of shattering and completely at his mercy.

The Work Place

Opener: "We must draw the line somewhere and define what is private; No one would feel comfortable going to a public place and giving out their username and passwords to total strangers. They should not be required to do so at work, at school, or while trying to obtain work or an education. This is a matter of personal privacy and makes sense in our digital world.” (Eliot Engel)
This is one example of how Privacy is undervalued and therefore needs to be valued more in order to protect personal security.
I Stand resolved that: Privacy is undervalued.
