Ha! :D
I was in stitches the entire time! This is great... I wish it were true (or some of them, anyway).
"Ents, “forestry engineers,” would find the Entwives in Vermont."
Ah, so that's where they were! Or maybe they all moved to California and became the Redwoods. :)
"Gandalf Twitters Radgast the Brown using a Blackberry and escapes Isengard in minutes."
I agree, that is great. "Hey, I get great reception from up here!"
"Hospitals would smell of athelas."
That wouldn't be bad...
"Archery and fencing would be parts of PE class."
They already do! I've taken both of them! :)
"The Balrog hangs out at summer camps to roast marshmallows for s’mores."
Um, okay... O_O
The "IBall," is one of my
The "IBall," is one of my favorites, I wasn't even thinking 'eyeballs' when I originally wrote it...

For the sakes of all
For the sakes of all Middle-Earthians involved- and myself- I'm glad LotR hasn't been Americanized. :)
That was hilarious...

That was really funny. I
That was really funny. I didn't get all of it because I haven't read the entire series, but the ones I knew were hilarious. (notice how everyone is using that word?) Awesome job.

Agree
Can you imagine how awful that would be? *shudders at the thought of Sauron paying carbon emission fees* It takes all the joy of villianry.

Yeah because then everybody
Yeah because then everybody would be equal but poor with no jobs and no sense of inspiration since starting a business will be out of reach of most people except those corporations you Liberals claim to oppose.
Studies show you Liberals give more stock into big businesses then any other group out there but don't let facts get in the way of you're dreams of equalizing everybody's income.
AmericanFreedomFighter.
Then Korea might be a good place for you or even China as they have everything you want and the government will always be there to take care of you.
Haha...
I do wish hospitals smelled of Athelas. :)
And Apple's iBall... what a hoot. :)

*muffled laugter*
Elven cloaks and hithlum ropes as standard military issue... I think I'd do a lot of shopping at the army surplus stores.
Eomer marries Gahn-bury-gahn's daughter!!?! Where do you come up with these things?
and frodo suing elrond's council... oh dear.
This was great!
"· Hospitals would smell of athelas." Maybe Aragorn could become a doctor after he got booted off his throne... :P
Hilarious. definately.
Mind if I add it?
Mind if I add the one about Aragorn becoming a doctor..I'd give you credit.

I loved this sooooooooooooooooo much! this was very creative and smart!
You must be a LOTR expert because I didn't remember half of the people you mentioned! ARHH! But I'm glade you added in Tom Bombidil! I was so angry that the author never wrote more about him!!! *sob* I liked him! And I has mortified that they didn't put him in the movies! ARGG! *shaking fist*
This was great! You should absolutely make a book about this, well if you have time between writting other stories, LOL! ;)
Awesome and so brilliant!

Heatblizzard
1. Nearly all the Hobbits would have solar panels on their roofs and a steam power plant or two for auxiliary use during the winter months when the sun doesn't shine much because when the sun does shine it will be at a MUCH lower angle setting by 5PM.
2.
Al Gore would actually be smart instead of his "Do as I say and not as I do" attitude and actually practice what he preaches instead of driving his expensive SUV and fly his dirty jets to promote speeches and he would not have failed expeditions to the North Pole where camera equipment freezes making him the Shire's laughing stock.
He would actually understand that the sun is a major if not the most important factor in climate change as energy gets stored in the oceans and then the oceans belch out the C02 on steroids.
(Duh without the sun we would all die and if Middle Earth so much as wobbled on it's orbit just a tiny of a fraction the climate would be a LOT more warmer/colder.
All throughout history civilizations have been altered where crops fail to grow that have grown for many generations forcing entire villages to be abandoned.
3. Modern Middle Earth would have cars but the Government would respect people's rights and people would in return respect each other with a huge emphasis on road safety without dictatorship style laws.
ha! Very funny! I especially
ha! Very funny! I especially like the part about Gandalf Twittering. :P
