Rest in peace, little one
Rest in peace
Your troubles are over, little one
Rest in peace
You looked death in the face
Little one
And did not flinch
Pain
Oh, the pain you endured
All because of your love,
Little one
Be not afraid
They talk of justice, little one
They talk of peace
But who, little one, noticed
When you suffered?
Pray, little one
You are safe now
Oh brave, brave little one!
How could you let them
Curse you
And beat you
Because you were faithful?
Blessed are those little ones
Who are persecuted
Your blood flows, little one
It cries out for justice
It carries courage to those
Who falter
It says Stand your ground,
Be like these little ones!
Perhaps, little one
It was not in vain
Your blood flows, little one
In ruby red rivers
Reflecting the glory of your King
Hush, little one
Sleep, little one
You are loved...
Rest in peace, little one
Rest in peace

**Written for those Christians in Uganda, Africa, who were martyred for the faith. Many were nailed to wood before they were murdered. One group were teenagers, and another group was set upon while they were praying in a church. This happened only recently...but somehow it did not make it in the news.**

Beautiful. So sweet and

So sweet and touching.
So sad. Really sweet,

It had a childish, open, vunerable feel about it, and it was lovely.
