A whisper of a breath,
My eyes beheld the gaze,
Eternity unbroken,
Unceasing songs of praise.

Infinity in a glance,
Enraptured in the call,
Arms outstretched in welcome,
Wingbeats break my fall.

Soothing light envelops,
Surrender makes me free,
Cradled in the notion,
I’m where I’m meant to be.

A harmony I hear,
My voice joins in the song,
I cannot fathom leaving,
This place where I belong.

My sight was finally opened,
My life was not the same,
Unbridled power echoed,
A call not for the tame.

My sleeping soul awakened,
Wrapped in love’s embrace,
Peace now fills my heart,
In this journey I must face.

But I know at journey’s end,
My spirit will take flight,
Into the arms of Jesus,
Within this place of light.
