To Touch Glory

Submitted by Sarah Liz on Sat, 02/20/2016 - 18:00

One day I’ll wake up—
And never sleep again.
One day I’ll sing—
And break forth into angels’ anthems.
One day I will run—
And never grow weary.
One day I will laugh—
And never cry again.
One day I will wade in a river—
The River of Life.
One day I will sing praises—
And truly sin no more.
One day I will cast my crowns before the throne—
The throne of God.
One day I will hear clapping thunder and many voices, and see flashing lightning and radiant beauty—
The glory of Yahweh Himself.

My Testimony

I have missed posting on apricotpie these past two months. My summer has been really busy and I have had sooo many ideas that I simply can't seem write it down on paper...yet. It's frustrating. But anyways, this is the story on how I became a Christian. I hope you'll be encouraged. :) ******* When I was five or six, my family and I went to listen to Billy Graham when he came to preach in New York.

Obliged to face the eternal

"Where is he?" Andrews asked, running his hand through his gray hair.
I shrugged. "He was just here a little while ago..."
Andrews gray eyes were snapping. "Go find him, hurry. Tell him they've arrived."
I blinked back in horror. "Me?! But I don't even know...."
Mr. Andrew fixed me with one of his 'hurry and do it' looks, and I rushed off with a little sigh.

Robert Frost on Forever

“Nature’s first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf’s a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay.” (Robert Frost, Nothing Gold Can Stay)
