Hi Guys! :)

Okay, here's another 9-page chapter. YAY! haha...

Thanks for waiting a couple weeks while I posted poems. :) I wish there wasn't a post limit on AP but it's probably best that there is...seeing as I would be posting several things a day. LOL!

P.S. Enjoy!! Thoughts?

I Surrender

Submitted by Dan on Mon, 03/19/2012 - 05:03

I surrender, to obey,

Everything He says, day by day.

I surrender, all my sin,

So I will win, to please Him.

I will try to no longer fall,

I answer His call,

I surrender all.

The Tale of Modeñia: Chapter One

Submitted by Arthur on Wed, 02/29/2012 - 07:37

There was once a rich and powerful kingdom called Modeñia. The King of Modeñia’s name was Karshë; he was peace loving, and a good ruler. In fact, his passion for peace was so strong, it blinded him to the looming danger. For, when war threatened, he went to the enemy himself to ask for peace, not understanding that the enemy did not want peace, and failing to first prepare a defense...

This is the sad story of the Kingdom of Modeñia, and of the brave Prince Zobed. This is my story, the faithful friend and servant of Prince Zobed.

Peaches, pt. 7

Submitted by E on Sat, 01/14/2012 - 06:10

*A/N* Okay, so I wrote this last night in a crazy book-happy writing frenzy (which happened because I posted how much I loved Reckless on Cornelia Funke's Reckless facebook page, and she replied!!!!!!!). I'm trying to reveal more of David's past, but I haven't written much of this lately, so I was having trouble getting into his skin. So, sorry if his mood changes weirdly or if either he or Marie are acting out of character. Constructive criticism would be great. :)

And Rain is falling

Submitted by Kathleen on Wed, 01/04/2012 - 17:57

They come to Him in prayer.

followers of the Creator on their knees

          They’re asking for His care.

            And rain is falling.

          They ask Him to sustain

as they fast, eyes on Him

and choose to trust while in their pain.

            And rain is falling.

         Hearts of stone, of pride

          He brings back from

         the one who lied.

         And rain is falling.

Flame, cool, sea, burn pt. 2

Submitted by E on Mon, 11/28/2011 - 05:34

*A/N* I've been having such writing block that I've been trying just to let the creativity flow, so this writing style is a little bit different. And there has been ZERO editing, so if there are any really terrible grammatical errors or mispellings, please let me know. Critiques are more than welcome, as always!!!!

The Innkeeper

Submitted by Taylor on Fri, 11/18/2011 - 22:12

it was not
enough
that rent was free in my inn
for you to stop
and stay with me

so i ran
out into the street
waving my arms frantically
as you passed by
chasing another
as desperately as i chased you

my dreams
i burned on your alters
my future
i offered up on your shrines

but you never came
so i spoke to you
as a rain cloud speaks
to the desert,
pouring myself into the sand
but my heart found
no oasis
there

Give Me the Faith

Submitted by Wings of Eternity on Fri, 11/11/2011 - 05:55

Give me the faith,

The faith to believe,

That the more that I give,

The more I’ll receive.

Give me the faith,

The faith to understand,

That every single moment,

You hold in Your hand.

Give me the faith,

The faith to be strong,

To believe in Your promises,

when all appears wrong.

Give me the faith,

The faith to cope,
