I Surrender

Submitted by Dan on Mon, 03/19/2012 - 05:03

I surrender, to obey,

Everything He says, day by day.

I surrender, all my sin,

So I will win, to please Him.

I will try to no longer fall,

I answer His call,

I surrender all.

Yeah this poem came to me in like two minutes at the Portland Youth Rally. We had to write on these white 'flags' what we surrender to God to be closer to him and to not disobey him. This came to mind so I wrote it down, and so I eventually decided to upload it here so I could share it.

Only with God, can we surrender to win...

I love the rthym (is that how you spell it?). Oh and nice wording as well! Short but very, very strong!

I liked it!
