Saxon Outlaw: Part II

On the table a candle was set, flickering and dancing. The flame gave forth enough light to see the faces around the table. I sat next to a man who was young and had appearance like myself, Will, by name. Across from him was another man, John, who was tall, bearded, with merry eyes. He held his hand to his forehead with his elbow resting on the table. And directly in front of me was a man with scarlet hair, Martin. His lips were pinched in frustration, as he leant back in his chair with his cloak tightly wrapped about him. Such was Martin’s disposition.

Sir Lot and the Young Knight

Just a bit of craziness. ;)
Inspired by Sir Lot of Orknay and Lothian (wasn't he in the King Arthur legends? Anyway, I saw the names and thought they were funny.)

------
Sir Lot of Orknay
Was a very strange fellow
His beard, it was black
But his hair, it was yellow

Sir Lot of Lothian
(And yes, this is true)
His eyes, they were pink
But his teeth, they were blue

Nobody had beat him
To this very day
For when anyone saw him
They fainted away

A Perilous Day

As the spray of the wooden shields flew through the air, Hildebrand wielded a mighty blow, swinging his scimitar over his son’s head. Ducking the strong and fierce swing, Hadubrant charged into Hildebrand with his steely vambrace posed at his father’s bare knee; and he knocked Hildebrand over. Blood covered the ground.
