 Chapter Three

Encountering The BIG Bull

He was riding his horse down the road when an old man came bursting out of a gate, rushing up to him. He had a sword in one hand and a bull whip in the other, and he was riding a big bull. He shook his weapons at him and yelled,

"Thief! Thief! You get off my horse you horrible man!"

The prince looked at him aghast.

"You dare speak to the prince like he was a common criminal? If you want your miserable horse just say so!"

Hello everyone,

here is another story. I have finished the story but do not want to overwhelm you, so here are the first two chapters.

Enjoy! :D

Chapter One

What started It All

Once upon a time there lived a prince named Robert. He had never loved anything in his life. He hated his books (but he read them anyway to pass the time of day), he hated his horse, his slaves, his sword, his kingdom, even his wealth (because it did nothing but buy more hated things).

Kreen Aktin by William Andrews-Chapters 1-5

Hello, everyone! My brother (who is now sixteen) wrote this book when he was eleven or twelve. I thought it was really imaginative, as well as funny. I hope ya'll enjoy it as much as I did.

Chapter 1

A huge ship raised anchor. Aboard her was a crew with cut-throat pirates. The captain of the ship was named Kreen Aktin, or that's what he wanted people to call him. I don't know his real name.

LoriAnn posted her contest story, so here is mine, personally Its  one of my favorites.

Alex was running. She dove around a corner and slid on the dirt and rock beneath her feet. Behind her she could hear the pounding footfalls and heavy breathing of her pursuer as he chased her through the town of Emery.

            “Alex!”

The Dragon's Treasure

Submitted by Sarah on Thu, 04/09/2009 - 21:46

Gold and silver,
running like a river,
littering the floor.
Diamonds and rubies,
glittering and shining
and priceless things galore.

By a dragon hoarded
by its fire guarded
they'll leave this cave nevermore.
Till it can no longer fly
and it finally dies
Its roar silenced forever.

The treasure will be pillaged
it will benefit a small village
the dragon's treasure dispersed throughout the world.
another dragon someday
will steal it again
and once more it will rest in a Dragon's hoard.

Fit the Fifth: Percival

Meanwhile, across the grassy green hills
the Pirate was walking alone
'cept for his net and his pistol, and small mountain rills
that would pinch him and make him groan.

He shooed them away just as the wind got worse
and snatched his black hat off his head,
and in his frustration he yelled his worst curse:
"Dumb onion-snout!" he said.

And then, looking up, he saw the dark clouds
gathering right over head,
and since there was no one for miles around
he let himself shiver with dread.

The Royal Treasury

A single drop of silver,
A web spun, from the purest gold.
Colors, beyond imagination,
In every shape, and size.
Precious strands of dew,
Falling from a shelf.
You turn in awe,
Unable to grasp,
The concept of this wealth,
The Royal Treasury.

Coats of armor,
unusable for the jewels,
that laden every inch,
of their gold-incrusted surfaces.

(Now, I'm not a poet by any means. I can't rhyme words very well because I always seem to pick the wrong words to try to rhyme, and sometimes I dislike the structure of poems...however, there are times I just can't help but write one! I've no idea what you call this type of poem. Maybe free verse?)

All the treasure
In the earth
Gold and jewels

Nothing will last
At a touch
Crumble into dust

Gold turns dull
Silver will tarnish
Jewels to sand

All the treasure
On the earth
Green growing things
