I Love You

Submitted by Timothy on Tue, 05/23/2006 - 07:00

From the beginning
I loved you
I painted you a picture
And put you in it
And I loved you

You blackened my picture
Still I loved you
Darkness covered my picture
The darkness of lust
And I loved you

I sang you a song
For I loved you
To woo you back to me
You covered your ears
Yet, I loved you

I reached into your picture
I loved you
I painted joy for you
Even in the blackness
For I loved you

Beyond (A song.)

“Beyond the crystal seas.
A pale light lingers.
Such joy as is unknown fills my heart
As I look upon the distant shores.
Shores that take me home.
Setting sail I look to the sky.
Leaving all I have known behind.
In time I will arrive.
And find that I am home”

The Way Home.

When we find ourselves lost and have forgotten who we are.
Love is the way back home.
In that place of darkness and despair.
Love is the way back home.
Beyond the road that leads to death.
Love is the way back home.
When all is well.
Love is the way back home.
In that place of rejoicing
Love is the way back home.
Beyond that road that leads to life.
Love is the way home.

Ineffably Precious

Today was especially bad. I got reamed over 5 accounts that were somehow or other left out of the fund switching. If the market drop yesterday is anything to go by, those 5 clients would be very unhappy people. 2 - 3\% isn't a numbers game when you're talking about handling millions.

We Fly!

Beneath the ocean.
Above the sky.

We fly! We fly!

Though rain may come.
And tears might fall.

Together we'll get through it all.

Our hearts will find peace.
Though all goodness seems to cease.

Our King cometh from on high.
Look up children to the sky.

We fly! We fly!

Music of the Woods.

Winter turns into spring.
Gradually getting louder.
Summer comes and sings it's song.
Before Autumn is upon us and quiet comes.
All is quiet as the first snowflake falls.
Listen carefully, listen closely.
The changing of the seasons is like a song.
As every flower opens, every leaf falls.
No two the same.
Music that cannot be heard by the ears
but must be listened to with one's soul.

Impressions From Looking Outside

Trees standing like telephone posts
Improperly put in, crooked and swaying
Crisscrossing one another as they move
In a soundless symphony of time and space
Unwinding so slowly they seem not to move
Yet under the grey cloudless sky nothing stands still

Under the grey cloudless sky
Under the sky composed of invisible clouds
Like sentences composed of thoughts
That all come out with the conjunction of a stream
Thousands of elements but one being
But when he took water he broke it

Words

Words are most often said without thought put in to them. Unless you are one
of those few people that write down everything they want to say just to make
sure it is perfect, flawless. Everyday I say something to someone without
thinking that hurts them. Once I see that I have done this I immediately
wish I could take it back, but it is impossible. To take something you said
back would be like trying to grab air. There is only one thing that someone
could do to make up for saying something hurtful, three simple words that

Ramblings of an over-tired teenager

As I prepare to finish my junior year of high school, my world seems to have exploded. A few weeks ago I took my SAT, for which I dutifully prepared for months. My normal school schedule has been difficult; I've had a lot of tests recently. I have been looking much harder at colleges so I can begin applying this summer. The last three weeks have held four different college visits for me, two of which were overnight. I've been babysitting frequently, and this week I also got a summer job.
