Peaches Pt. 4
In the depths of sky-blue eyes,
I’m entranced, I’m mesmerized.
My heart was captured in a beat
And that alone is quite a feat.
Your smile was so soft, sincere,
It banished every single fear.
And as I held your gaze in mine,
It seemed that God had stopped all time.
I could not move, nor could I breathe.
How could I bring myself to leave?
Here's another of those weekly contests I've doing: I'll share the prompt and the story!

Guess what! You get to do a story based off of a painting… and here it is!

Written when I was 9 years old.....
~
Who am I?
That I have gone away the same and have come back new
Changing in a blink of an eye; Or have I just changed what I do
Who am I?
That my eyes see different than what I saw
A person shining more beautiful than the moon’s light
Someone who always protected me who I never knew before
Who am I?

I feel beautiful when:
A total stranger holds the door for me, 'wasting' time in a busy world for someone they'll never see again.
The waitress acts like she really cares, and wants to be friendly, instead of the "I'm-paid-to-be-polite-but-I'd-really-rather-not,-and-since-you're-with-your-parents-and-they're-paying-I'll-ignore-you-and-just-waste-my-energy-on-not-making-them-mad."
The Fed-Ex lady asks what you're reading when you come to the door to sign for the package with a book in your hand.
As the sun goes down
I hear the sound
Of breezes rustling through the cherry trees.
Calm blue of dusk
White-grey of shadowed blossoms
Pale pink of horizon.
A perfect night for lovers
A perfect night for dreamers
For those who long for what lies past the stars
For those who think wistfully of the dangerous depths of the sea.
