Dreamers

As the sun goes down
I hear the sound
Of breezes rustling through the cherry trees.
Calm blue of dusk
White-grey of shadowed blossoms
Pale pink of horizon.
A perfect night for lovers
A perfect night for dreamers
For those who long for what lies past the stars
For those who think wistfully of the dangerous depths of the sea.

I am a dreamer
No need for love or light or happiness
No need for that which I create in my mind
This quiet night is mine
The one I made in my head.
Does it seems real to you?
If so, know how real it is for me
And understand why I want nothing more
Than my dreams.

I loved the words you used. This felt enchanting, and mysterious in the best possible way. My favorite lines were '' For those who long for what lies past the stars, For those who think wistfully of the dangerous depths of the sea.''
