"I'm providing a lot of the food and some dishes," Nadezda said. "I have two blankets, a pillow, a pair of pajamas, and an extra set of clothes. I'll be carrying Dad's bow and arrows."

"Your traveling companions are downstairs in the living room," Norla said, hugging her daughter tightly." I'll miss you."

"Me too," Nadezda said, heading downstairs to the living room." Hi, guys," she greeted everyone.

  "Hi," they returned.

Don't Sing Love Songs

There's a really pretty song, an old American Folk ballad, called "Silver Dagger", where a girl turns away a potential suiter because her mother has warned her about how awful men are. It's a pretty song, as I said, but it's got some pretty depressing words. So if  you know the tune, (or if you want to look it up on YouTube or something) here are my improved lyrics--a personal ballad about waiting for the one God has planned for you.
