Chapter VI
The Gang Disappears

Sally lay outside on her back, eyes open, staring blankly at the stars.

“Did you hear any time they were going to at?” Asked the deep-voiced Police Officer.

Sally shook her head. “Just that they're coming tonight,” she said.

Callie sat up. “What time is it?” She asked.

“It's eleven-o'clock,” Sally replied, looking at her wrist watch.
Callie whistled.

“We've been here for three and a half hours,” she said.

Sally nodded, then turned back to Officer Troy Kennings.

Chapter V
The Gangs Meeting

The third night, as the three girls lay outside, Callie said, “If we could just find the place where the thieves are, we could set a Police-trap and catch 'em if they came back.”

“Say, Cal, you might just have given me a great idea!” Carrie said.

Her sister looked at her quizzically. “Whats that?” She asked.

“There aren't but a few motels and apartments in town,” Carrie replied. “And if we could look for someone under the name Jones, maybe we could set up a trap!”

Rose Thoughts

1. If They could Think

Peach tinted lips and
Vintage-stained pages
They flitter their
Helpless souls as
Hope dawns.

Grey cardigans
Bow petals
They're
Pink soiled

2. Gossip Girls

Whispering gossamer lips
To the silly bluebirds
Their scar-ing rumours

Bling-ing their diamond drops
Showing their stars
Throwing their coveting
Glances

They hurt so many

3. A Musing

If roses could think
The world would be more
Hopeful.

When Boredom Strikes...

When boredom strikes
There's not much else to do
I mean, cleaning is boring
As is shopping for shoes
And forget about math-
I'm allergic to learning!
Yet nothing can stop
This internal yearning...
I'll sit at my desk
And roll both my eyes
As I kick up my feet
And put on the disguise
Of a whole 'nother character
New time and new place
All while escaping
This boring space
But too soon indeed
Some questions come in
Who is this neighbor
And where has she been?

Funny, when you think about it
Where you were a year ago
Is a different person than now

I was confused, lost, vulnerable
Desperate even, broken beyond repair
Pulled from darkness abruptly to light

Funny, I should've put up a fight

The things we love now
The ones we hold dear
Will one day make us cry

I went back to the darkness
And didn't turn on the light
And when help came, I put up a fight

So they sat with me, and talked

Not Perfect

I am SO excited! For ages, I have been developing this story in my brain. I have really wanted to write something worth posting on AP. Something that I would follow through with, and not give up on. I want this picked apart, and be given brutally honest comments.

Never Say Goodbye

Submitted by Gina I. on Thu, 10/03/2013 - 23:38

Welcome to our world of dreams,
Where everything is as it seems.
All of it is cut and dried,
And we'll never die,
Just never say goodbye...

When I look up I see your face,
Smiling at me with love and grace,
You're so beautiful to me,
And I know I'll never leave.
Just never say goodbye.

In this world we see,
Who we're meant to be,
And by your side, I know
That my love was meant to grow,
And we'll never say goodbye.

Feelings

Submitted by Madeline on Thu, 10/03/2013 - 21:17

you don't define me
you don't disown me
you don't unbend me
you don't unbreak me
you don't obtain me
you don't forsake me
you don't embrace me

you have not heard me
you have not learnt me
you have not held me
you have not scared me
you have not called me
you have not reached me
you have not told me

Anything
Everything
Something
One thing
You have not

I know you
I could disown you
I could unbreak you
I could unbend you
I could embrace you

Chapter IV
Where Has the Gang Gone?

“I have an idea of what we should do tonight,” Carrie said as they sat on their bed, just after getting home.

“Whats is it?” Sally asked.

“Tonight,” Carrie replied. “We'll sleep outside again. I'll sleep on one side, out of sight, and you and Callie sleep on the other side, in sight. You can see just what happens, and we'll also know if they come up on your side, then at some time they spy on us to see which side we're on.”

“Say, Carrie! That's a great idea!” Sally said approvingly.
