The Rules of Royalty

*AN* I know, this is completely horrible and very random. Hope y'all enjoy! Lol

Here,

I show you,

The rules of royalty.

They are actually

Quite simple,

Just follow them:

Look stiff,

Keep a cheesy smile,

Walk funny,

Talk snootily in a British accent,

And, last, but not least,

Be snobby.

These are the rules of royalty,

I hope they helped you learn,

Now follow them closely,

Listen well,

And you will be queen/king of England!

Ah! And the last one-
Be murdered by some throne-seeking upstart!

Dear Erin,
My mother raised me to be a lady, and being a Christian, I have always considered myself to be the daughter of The King.
So, I just wanted to tell you that if this is your concept of true royalty, it is'nt quite correct. I believe that the rules of royalty are; To make people feel comfortable when they are around you, as if they were your best friend, even if you barely know them. To let God's light shine through your face always. To never be critical of others, before or behind their back. To keep a neat appearance, and hold yourself with straight posture, as if you had a string tied to the top of your head, and then to hold your diaphraghm in. To just do what is right and basically just be who God created you to be.
I realize that you were just playing around with poetry, and I'm sorry if I popped your bubble, but I just wanted to give you a better idea of royalty thatn what you have heard. Thanks for listening!

funny. :) I have to agree with the person above me, though. It really isn't a true picture of royalty. I'm sure you didn't intend it to be, but she makes a good point.

Well, true royalty shouldn't be this way, but sadly in much of history that IS what royalty was like. *shrugs*
