You Again

I just remembered
That I dreamt about you
Looking at me
As if I was something special
I said you hadn't changed
Your eyes deftly flicked up and down
And you said
You have
With pleasant surprise
But I put those words in your mouth
And I knew they were coming before they were out
I almost kissed you but fell to your side
At the last second
Afraid of what it would feel like
Then the dream loses all purpose
Becomes a blur of villains and threats
The cinemascape of my mind
But I remember those crucial few seconds when I
Saw you looking so deeply into my eyes
And you were manufactured from
What I knew you as then
Yet it's got me thinking
About what would happen
Between us
If we were given a chance
There are so many uncertainties but
One day from afar
I thought I saw you
Coming toward me
My heart skipped a beat
And I waited
Anxiously
Thinking
No
And of course it was not

This is great! I loved how you gave it a dreamlike quality without it being confusing.
But I put those words in your mouth
And I knew they were coming before they were out (I like)

The flow of this is so lovely, and the imagery and the dream-ish feel and like what Erin said, it isn't confusing. :) Love!
