Paper Fires

**It's short, but there was nothing else to post it with.**

flick, flame
lick, claim
it starts to burn.

sparks fly in empty sky
no stars, no light to see.

we’re starting paper fires
burning bright as supernovas—

sparks find my empty mind
all I want is light to see.

we’re starting paper fires
bright, bright burning—

like supernovas, they don’t leave
anything behind.

This was a very simple but thoughtful poem. The ninth line is especially clever; it is a very poetic way of wording.... It really is a great poem!!!! I love you!!!!!

I never have the right words to describe your writing. "Amazing, wonderful, awesome, excellent!" nothing can quite get across what I'm trying to say.

I will buy your first book, and every book after that :)
