Diversely companioned the grainy, sundered vale reflects the fiery gaze and swaddles cragged mountain hem and rests Bereft of wispy fellowship, hues of muted blue or deep azure blend amidst the other enmeshing with a lighter of the two How the realm of ocean’s bosom may have engulfed the vale, sleeplessly lapping o’er stone and cliff Above measureless depths un-charted frigates frail grasped high breezes that whispered masts gathered its kindly ally The sky dripped it lamenting tears falling deep, the watery abyss received then fondled the descending droplets cold The shoreline stretched with its inky-coloured edges meet beards foamy: the surf drew away glass of the sea But now burning sun with hands relentless claw the feeble soil oft belts of rain be-wet the ground in brief hour Then receding, unquenched sun surges with chasms burning lets flee flares ere it plunges further into the darkling Barren slopes of silhouetted shape now as pillars to the sky-roof, with hewn edges thrust upward pricking tips saluting the moon Starry dome of mid-night hue wraps about the sheltered vale deep cold the dry basin becomes and shivers as it slips asleep Revealed, downward-draping, sky of a thousand watchmen who hang lighted candles there to burn long in bright flame The wind now bitter brushes the loose sand over the dry, desert floor, rolling in parched waves tumbling fly Monarchial blue deep as a raven’s wing slips ‘neath dawn’s grey gown delves below sky’s hidden horizon, its farthest western bounds Warmth now takes the frozen land and thaws the ground, hinted with icy trickles of frozen dew, reflective and tinted Reviving the senseless and motionless with outstretched, soothing fingers the sun re-grasps vale and tall mount with embracing Loosed the fold of her frosty and swathing mantle the desert gathers and unfurls its beauty bestowed: God’s mirth

Stunning
This was absolutely stunning! I loved all of the imagery and wording. I also loved the poem's structure. It isn't quite anything I have seen before. This poem makes me want to write a poem with every elegant and timeless word I have in my own vocabulary! I love it when someone takes magnificent words and makes them even more resplendent by stringing them together beautifully! *wink* Keep up the awesome work! God Bless,

I have hated the words and I have loved them, and I hope I have made them right. --The Book Thief

Elegant.
Mature and well-thought out, like a cup of exotic tea steeped to perfection. Very well done.
