I wanted to write a lullaby that I will someday be able to sing to my someday kids... I wanted to emphasize the roles of men and women, and also incorporate some of the things my parents and grandparents used to say/sing to us (the last 2 verses, they aren't original as some of you may know...). I can't notate it perfectly: It's more free and gentle than the program makes it sound, and all of the chords are supposed to be gently rolled. I need to re-write the fourth stanza, it doesn't quite fit the music.
