Once upon a time there was a lovely princess. She was fair and tall with a lovely singing voice. She had green eyes. Now please don't ask me why these eyes were so important. They just were. Just remember that the princess had lovely green eyes.
Anyway, lovely as she was, the princess got everything and anything she ever wanted. She had the finest sports equipment. She had her own dance studio. She had eleven ponies and fourteen horses, though she hated riding them. She was spoiled. Yet one day, she came across something that she could not have.
It all started one day when the princess was riding her fattest pony Mr. Dinkles and she heard the sound of two people. They were laughing. The princess grew fiercly jealous. Please note that this princess' mother's great aunt's uncle's sister's mother's husband's other wife was a fairy. The princess had a fairy streak in her, too, as fairies tend to be exceedingly jealous. (just look at Tinkerbell.)
Anyway, she crept up on a young man her age and his companion, a simple townsgirl. The princess knew, or so she thought, that the boy would not be able to resist her if the she just sang a few notes, twirling and whirling all the while. The princess loved to dance.
She gathered up her skirts and chose a simple song. She sang the first few bars and leaped away into the woods. She kept singing until she heard hurried footsteps following her. She did an arabesque and a pirouette and stopped. She saw the handsome boy and stopped.
"Excuse me if I was bothering you." she giggled.
"N...N...Not...Not at all." stuttered the boy. "I...I loved it. Will you come for a walk with me?"
But the princess was going to tease him for a little while longer. "Surely you haven't been here alone. Is there anyone with you?"
"Well..."
"Nevermind. Let's walk." She started walking toward the site where he had been sitting. She found the townsgirl sitting there, eating a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. At the site of the princess, she turned on her heel and stomped away. The princess fell to the ground, weeping. The girl had taken her peanut butter and jelly sandwich with her. All the princess had wanted was the sandwich. But the poor princess never got it.
Moral: Don't steal someone's guy trying to get a pb+j sandwich. It doesn't work too well.
