Jonathan laughed. He couldn’t help it. Yet his face grew more serious as he thought of the question that was burning on his mind.
“Why?”
Nicole stopped laughing.
“Why what?”
“Why on earth didn’t you tell me?”
“About wha-oh. That. I…”
“Obviously you don’t trust me.”
“No! It’s not that, I swear. I just…”

“Nicole Ella Kiara Brielle, you come out of there!” Nicole got off her bed and looked at the mess around her. Three days she had sat in her room and it was starting to show it. Every surface had stuff on it, from books to some candy wrappers. She was, to be frank, pouting. She hadn’t told her father about Jonathan, and when he found out from the Queen, he had gotten so angry at her lack of interest in the rich princes of surrounding countries that he had forbidden her to see the boy again. This happened a week after the princess had been helped by Jonathan.

Meanwhile, in the lonely town the princess desired to explore, a young fourteen year old man whistled along the cobbled street in the center of town. He searched the buildings beside the road until he found 14 Hemming Place, the blacksmith’s shop. He knocked twice on the door. A man came out, looked at the boy, and said,
“We’re not hiring.” And tried to slam the door. The boy, however, held it firm.

Once Upon a Time, In a Faraway Land, there lived a king and queen and their daughter, Princess Isabella. The King and Queen tried their best to teach Isabella Christian values. They helped the poor and prayed often. Before every meal, they would say this prayer: “Lord Jesus, come and be our guest at this time.” Since the family said that prayer ever night, Isabella couldn’t understand why Jesus would never come. So, one day, she confronted her mother about her thoughts.
