21.
Lily white, her crown of snow
In curving light her petals grow.
Bird in flight sees her below,
Moved by sight of such a glow.
22. Spring
First won't look like much
but it smells and sounds and feels
like coming alive
23.
“I hope you dance,” whispered Moira
To Neal at their very first ball
“Sweet lass!” he said as he kissed her
They were wed before the next fall.
“I hope you dance,” Cora’s brother
Teased as he saw her big chance
But the man who made eyes at his sister
Said, “I regret to say I don’t dance.”
24. Paper Castle
Quavers at my touch.
Ramparts flutter instead of banners.
Like a fortress of reeds,
Shivers as it tries to stand.
Prays for lack of rain.
On its knees with a breeze,
Then bounces up again.
Fears water, shoes, and scissors.
Poor thing wants to be a castle,
But it’s only made of paper.
25. [about the TV show Heroes character Sylar]
Not long ago this man was a murderer.
Shameless.
Then his life was aimless.
Not long ago this man spent time in a hero’s head.
Manipulating.
Now is he capitulating?
Not long ago this man sought help.
Sick, tricked.
Hidden with bricks.
Not long ago two men lived five years in a parallel world.
Broke the wall.
Forgiveness conquered all.
Not long ago this man saved the world.
“Hero.”
Should we fear you?
This man deserves a fanfiction.
A brave new man?
Let’s hope he can.

I really like 21-23...23 is
I really like 21-23...23 is so funny! At least, I think so, but it's only irony that I think is funny. People always think I'm a killjoy when it comes to romance because I like it when it fails, but I just like seeing the irony in stories about failed romance...and 21 is pretty...beautiful...slightly magical...mysterious...
I love all of them ;) I think
I love all of them ;) I think these are my favorite yet.

These are very beautiful jewels of nonsense. I love the Paper Castle. It suits a paperpoet. :)

Nate-Dude: Well, I always try to pick the appropriate titles. Thanks!
Maria: Irony isn't usually my forte, so I'm glad you liked it.
Erin: Really? Thanks!
Kyleigh: Comprehension isn't quite mandatory for these poems. ;)
Paperpoet: That it does. ;) And thank you for that "fantastic" praise!
Bridget: I'm surprised it doesn't seem obscure to you. Unless, of course, you watch Heroes. :) I rather like it myself...

No, never watched Heroes, but it doesn't seem obscure. Maybe it means something different to you than to me, I don't know.

These are wonderful. 23 made me laugh, and I absolutely love 24. Just the sound of "paper castles" is thrilling for some reason. Great stuff. :)
