Sometimes dreaming is what keeps me alive
but sometimes I wonder if it's worth the fight
when all it appears to do is fill my mind, with
something that seems impossible for this life.

And I don't mind this world in its essence
it's the outcome I don't understand
when everything's viewed to be broken
and no one will just take a stand.

Well, I'll not lose myself in this depth, unfathomable;
a world and humanity. It's a surface smile,
a shallow love that lasts to strike, and
the match goes out, giving way to the night.
