Descent to Chaos

{this isn't based on fact, but the musings of my mind. There have been no protests here, and we don't see any reason for there to be any; the local people are happy. But I put myself in the shoes of one of my friends in a nearby country, and this is what resulted}.

Shouts and angry voices drifted up from the street.

Will it show it's face again?

It is not there.
It is gone.
Has it left forever?
Perhaps no,
Perhaps yes.
Are there any real answers?
There must be.
There out there somewhere.
Of what I speak,
You must not know.
How could you?
I have not told you.
You cannot understand what I say.
It makes no sense to you.
I speak of knowledge.
Almost a lost art.
It is dying.
Shriveling up,
For none to see.
Never being brought out for use.
People forget they have it.
They wander about,

Obscure Knowledge

I was thinking the other day, and I just realized that I have a whole lot of obscure knowledge. I know alot about various and sundry things...that most people don't know, or would even care about. Flax, for instance. Did you know that Flax is one of a number of plants that are used to make linen? Most of what we call linen today is made from the flax plant.
