Lord, grant me the grace…

To sing when the road is lonely.
To laugh when my soul is heavy.
To love the unlovable.
To care for the unreasonable.
To uphold the fainting.
To be a friend to the friendless.
To be an example to the next generation.
To be loving sister.
To be an honorable daughter.
To be a friend that’s there through thick and thin.
To be light to the lost.
To live up to the high calling of God.
To have the humility of a servant.
To work “as unto the Lord, and not unto men”.
To speak boldly in the name of Jesus.
To (someday) be a devoted helpmeet.
To (someday) be a dedicated mother.
To shine the light of my Lord into an ever-darkening world.
To press on though the way might prove difficult.
To get back up when I fall.
To pray always.
To give thanks in everything.
To never take Your blessings for granted.
To live as if You are coming back today.
To heed the voice of the Spirit.
To accept rebuke.
To press on confidently, knowing that my life is hidden in You.

Grant me the grace to truly live as a princess—a daughter of the King of all Kings.
