Catholic, bibliophile, Chestertonian. Strong advocate of common sense, children, and good wine.
I love: Catholicism, writing, reading, science-fiction, C.S. Lewis, G.K. Chesterton, J.R.R. Tolkien, coffee, Jane Austen, Shakespeare, mysteries, Agatha Christie, P.G. Wodehouse, medieval historical fiction, well-written fantasy (an endangered species), British literature, and I have a weakness for comic books/graphic novels.
I dislike: most YA "literature", vampires that sparkle, werewolves that aren't named Remus Lupin, romances that start in the bedroom and end at the altar, human heroes without fault, slash, chick lit, regency novels that pretend to be Austen-esque, fantasy novels that require a four page long pronunciation guide (the obvious exception: Tolkien)
