Compass

four arrows
pointing to
the direction of grace
the way of truth

as a compass

black lines
spinning
the letters smeared
it fills with your tears

you are

becoming lost
becoming rash
losing purity
living your past

look to

Him who saves
with black around
the sky
He conquered your lies

glorious

from east to west
He covered
you and your mess
for you He suffered

undone

your failure
your doubt
your misery
your heart

radiant

He remains
for you, ask
the Savior
to fill the void

completed

I will be next
to you with light
to shine through death
and give you sight

your compass

I really liked this.  One of the best verses was:

you are

becoming lost
becoming rash
losing purity
living your past

Brother: Your character should drive a motorcycle.
Me: He can't. He's in the wilderness.
Brother: Then make it a four-wheel-drive motorcycle!

Lovely, lovely..... beautiful....
