Dreamland

Sitting at my big computer
Hoping that things don't get duller
I close my eyes
And cross my hands
And enter my own dreamland

Trees that rise one-hundred feet tall
A thief scaling a castle wall
I'm over here
And around there
Everywhere in my dreamland

There are no lessons and no school
No smacking rods or useless rules
Just me and my
Own little self
Traveling in my dreamland

Dwarves with riches, mountains of gold
And elven forests, decades old
Everything green
A perfect scene
Seen only in my own dreamland

Fighting orcs who’re smelly and mean
Lake's reflecting moon's silver sheen
A grand land
Not touched by man
That makes up my own dreamland

Beaches covered in pearly sand
Waterfalls, impressive and grand
These are some things
You might see
Captured in my dreamland

Dragons soaring in cloudless skies
Gryphons take flight with the sunrise
Wings all aflight
Brown, grey, or white
Flying in my own dreamland

In my dreamland, I can be
A silver-haired elf, having tea
An evil werewolf
Or even have wings
But only in my dreamland

But when someone says a sharp word
I get sucked from my own little world
Away from my thoughts
To reality
Away from my peaceful dreamland.

-The Werewolf Prince.

This made me smile, since it's something I still do even though I'm old enough to know better! But sometimes being a thief scaling the walls is so much more interesting than work or school ;)

I know this won't ever get replied to or anything, but I went and surfed the last page of comments and found it. I wanted to bring this to notice so everyone could read it; its so good! Absolutely brilliant; its so well done and flowing very nicely. You can always find me dreaming every part of the day!
