Why is it my fingers always come to a standstill on the keyboard when it comes to bios? I guess I'm better at writing about other people besides myeslf.
Well, I'm homeschooled, have been since I was old enough to learn anything. My parents plan on homeschooling me until I'm ready to go to college.
I have three wonderful siblings and parents who are gifts from God. I am always cooking up schemes for books in my ever-active mind. Sometimes I have so many at the same time that I have to force myself to forget them and work on the book I have in front of me.
I literally eat books. I think I've probably read every single clean, well-written book in the ficiton section of the library. I am now dabbling in nonfiction now that I've pretty much run out of fiction. I also like sci-fi, and nonfiction spy stories are growing on me quickly.
A big influence in my writing is the music I listen to: movie soundtracks (Gladiator being my favorite. And pretty much anything composed by Hans Zimmer), symphonic metal (Nightwish, Evanescence), Christian rock (Skillet, Red, dc Talk, Anberlin), and a dash of oldies and classical.
I am an aspiring artist as well, ink and pencil being my preferred medias. I participate in 4-H archery with my older sister; this will be my third year as a competitive archer.
My family and I are all Catholics, and I am striving to praise God in all I do, including my writing.
So, that's the basics of what I do. Hope I didn't bore you. :)
May it be an evening star / Shines down upon you
May it be when darkness falls / Your heart will be true / You walk a lonely road / Oh! How far you are from home...
