The elusive wolverine (Gulo gulo) has a fearsome reputation. It is the largest member in the weasel family. They are ferocious and are feared by every animal in the woods and mountains. They live in cold climates, have a small amount of enemies and are great at hunting.
Wolverines usually live in cold and low-climate locations, like the North American Rocky Mountains and in the Northern European and Asian hills and forest. They are probably built for the mountains since they are equipped with snow-shoes, to catch rodents and snow-shoe hares. Males usually dominate the territory, accompanied by two - three females.
Wolverines also have a few enemies. Wolves, bears and even some mountain lions kill wolverine cubs and weak elderly males. By trying to defend their territory (or food), the wolverine will circle its intruder (a wolf) and dash at it, trying to bite under its neck. If it succeeds, the wolverine may be able to pull the canine onto the ground, biting its neck, wounding it. The wolf may finally know who it’s dealing with, and retreat.
A very interesting fact about wolverines is how they hunt. The male wolverine would climb onto a stump or a small drop off. If a deer or a hare comes along, the wolverine will jump on top of the unfortunate creature, biting its neck and killing it instantly. It would bring it back to its den, than finish its meal.
Wolverines are interesting and warrior-like creatures. They live in low climate locations, have few enemies and are great hunters. If you are ever in a predicament with these animals, make sure you know as many facts about them in order to avoid being hurt and killed.
Wolverines are my favorite animals! My mom asked me to do a research essay about an animal for my writing class. If you like, comment about your favorite animals.

One thing you could improve on is your transitions between parts of your essay. For example, you could compare or contrast how wolverines hunt with how they deal with enemies. Also, try mixing up your sentence structure or combining some of them. All of them are subject-verb-compliment (in other words, "who" "does what" "where/when/how.") For example, instead of

try something like
Wolverines climb onto a stump, wait for a hare to come along, and then jump, knocking its prey to the ground before biting through the neck.
