Christmas
There are lights, strapped up tight, on the tree, I can see. Presents with bows, wrapped in red and green, make a beautiful scene. Merry Christmas to all, and have fun at the mall.

I am Christmas
I wonder what brought that big bright star
I hear the angels singing
I see a baby in a manger
I touch the warm soft cheek of Him
I speak softly in His ear
I dream of the baby asleep on the hay
I am Christmas
This is a little bit personal but a poem that can be sung as a song.

THe snow has fallen
It's only a few days
But something's not right
About what's happening
I'm going through a change
And somehow Christmas doesn't feel
Like it's felt before.
But at this time of my life
I'll learn to love
And I'll learn to smile
Cause it raises me up
And I'll learn this time
This time of my life.
(I have this thing with writing Christmas stories...this is the third I've ever written and the only one without animals)
Ivan was standing at the counter, whistling along with Bing Crosby’s ‘White Christmas’.
He looked through the small apartment’s living room to the front window. By the light of the street lamp, he could see there was no snow—just cold, cracked pavement. He turned away, muttering under his breath.
“I’d really hoped for a white Christmas this year.”
I love Christmas time! Where on Christmas eve you ride to Grammy’s house in a Christmas dress or sweater and when you get there you see all of your family sitting on couches, and you cousins laying on the floor or running around playing and screaming and their parents tell them to be quiet!
We have a book by a man named Mr. Dobson. It's full of Christmas stories told from the point of view of a person... all of which make my dad cry and sometimes everyone else, too. I tried to write this in the same style as that book, attempting to create a Christmas story... not that would make people cry, but that would be a touching story... yeah...
---------------
Away in a manger,
One silent night,
In a humble place
Yet beholding God's pure light.
There is the virgin,
In the middle of it all
Thought of the angel's words,
"He is the son of the Most High." Lord of All.
The little town of Bethlehem
Has seen a great light
How precious is this wonderful time
How blessed is this precious, holy night.
It wouldn’t be Christmas without you
Verse 1: It’s a beautiful sight outside
The room is bright
But something doesn’t feel right
It’s Christmas Eve and yet I don’t feel happy
I want you here because it’s too hard without you
Chorus: It just won’t be Christmas without you
Though everyone’s here
It just won’t be Christmas
Since you’re not here
It’s not the same
Nothing feels right
Without you by my side
It just won’t be Christmas without you this year
Verse 2: Time passes by
As the night draws nigh
