The bells are tolling,
but I do not hear their sound.
I am caught up in something

I see women weeping
with men of solemn face,
but I do not feel as they do,

A whispered silence falls,

but oh, if they could only see
the rejoicing around me now!

They would hear a mighty chorus
and the dazzling colors see.
Then they too would rejoice,
for death is only the beginning of eternity.

This is a thank you for always commenting on my work! This poem I wrote a while ago and it is based off of the movie Prince of Persia. It is about Dastan's and Tamina's love and destiny.
