Icy Cloak and Silvery Lantern ~VII~
WONDERLAND
Throughout high school, I had always told Elaine she was the prettiest girl in school, but she never believed me.
When by luck we wound up in the same college together, I wrote down on a semi-finals test paper what she called an 'essay'; on how she was the prettiest girl in the college.
As I walk the worn path I see the marks of Christians stretched far beyond my reaching grasp, but as the finger traces Your cross upon my brow, Your victory shines through me. We are a witness.
The dearth of home and rest. We are want. We are need. We are bleeding. Our wounds match Yours in a transparent aspect. Unity.

"You look distracted, Leo." Mrs. Trent said sweetly. "What's on your mind?"
Leo turned to the prying embassador with a carefree smile.
"I'm waiting to meet a contact to instigate a plan that should stop the end of the world."
Well, at least that's what he would have said, had he no sense of self-control in strenuating circumstances, which, fortunately, he had.
This story just popped in my head one day. Anne is loosly based off my sister and Melissa is based on my friends Katie (KatieSara) and Emalee smooshed together into one person. And Bella is based off myself. The fact that she feels guilt and blames herself is something I would do. It's actually someting I DO do. Tell me what you think. ;)
This is an article I wrote for the Catholic teen girl magazine, TG! If it seems like I wrote it in a rush, that's because I did. I was on a tight deadline. :p I wrote it in about ten minutes. ;)
Enjoy!!
I heard a song one early bright morning
As I lie across the grass to pray
It sounded like angels voices
“Ave Maria, gratia plena” is what they say.
Then there came a large chorus
Like millions of angels upon the ground
I could see them and their harps of gold
Silver roses sprouted round them, I found.
The voices rang on, filling the air with sweetness
Then I saw a light, coming from where I stood
A woman more beautiful than ever
Too beautiful to explain… I would if I could!
