The Apologetic Shrew
I. Shrew
how much depends
on an apologetic
shrew
how much can you
say
how much can you
do
II. It's Complicated
airily, you said that
I had told you a lie
I have done no such thing
I said
you just rolled your eyes
I. Shrew
how much depends
on an apologetic
shrew
how much can you
say
how much can you
do
II. It's Complicated
airily, you said that
I had told you a lie
I have done no such thing
I said
you just rolled your eyes
Today I was honest
I wrote what I felt
I feel better now
I feel like myself
Flynn woke to the blinding light of the sun glinting in the snow. Blinking his eyes furiously, he cleared his mind and looked around. That was when he noticed the horse. Frantically scrambling away from the horse, he backed up against something cold and metal. When the horse turned and trotted away into the snow, Flynn finally realized that something was wrong.
Dreams Are As Far
The dream beams rays of hope in heart
It felt really real, as most dreams do
But this one was special, arms wrapped from behind me
It captures the beauty of you
I'm left with the warmth of the sun in my chest
It's a nice feeling, better if for real reason
It was really strange, when you did what you did
I could have you committed for teasing
I finally got around to typing these out. I had written most of them in a big drawing book, but time got away on me, like it usually does. By the way, the first resolution doesn’t count for this month. I think it has something to do with the fact that it is summer and school holidays, and my brain is floating on clouds.
Here are my accomplishments for 2013, not in any order:
1. Played a new sport at the start of the year, got fit and lost a little weight. And loving it!
2. Read my Bible every night for the past six months.

I miss you,
So much it hurts me heart.
I miss everything about you,
And it pains me to be so far apart.
The way you smile,
The way you laugh,
The way you dress in style,
The way you split my heart in half,
With just one look.
I miss the scent of you!
And every conversation you partook.
I miss all of you!
Everyone of my senses longs for you!
Sound, sight, smell, I miss you!
I'm not ready for it to be over
I'm not ready for it to be done
If the best part was getting together
The worst part becomes moving on
And I know it must feel just as bad
And I know that it hurts on both sides
But to turn your head without granting a chance
Is it fair for just you to decide
It is staying with me and it hasn't yet gone
I'm trying to push it away
It's complete it's over it's ended it's done
But the unfinished feelings remain
i. Stars Collide
I know I've said it before but
Your eyes are like twin kaleidoscopes
And they shine when you laugh
Like, really laugh, the type of laugh
That explodes from your chest
And waltzes away to freedom
Flying high with the birds
I praise the night and
The twinkling stars that light the way
As I swing my legs over the edge
Falling, jumping, deeper still
Oh, my love, my dear,
I know you're afraid but
Won't you catch me?
[I sometimes get a deep lonely feeling while writing, if my stories aren't at the stage to be viewed - do you know what that feels like? - so I am perking up my spirit by giving you a little slice of Sarah pie! Currently I am working on two short stories, one very long short story called "Jed", and, of course, "Martje", always. <3 Sarah]

"We should probably get out of here" breathed Stephen. "Like right now."
But Nora was curious. She was determined that whatever had caused her father to be traumatized in his early days was all either a hallucination, or some maniac determined to ruin other people's normal lives. And she was going to prove it. She took out her phone and tapped on the camera app, which was quickly becoming useless in the approaching darkness.
"No." Her voice shook when she said it, and it was then that she noticed that she was scared as well.
